The “11th EU Thailand National Intervarsity Debate Championship” (EUTH) was conducted in cooperation with the Thammasat University Debate Club and the European Union. There were 9 students on 3 teams from the English program participating in this competition. The purposes of this competition – in addition to the obvious fun – were: to exchange knowledge between schools, develop academic thinking skills, and improve English communication skills. This activity was held from the 5th – 9th of August 2016, at the Thammasat University, Thaphachan Campus. In all, there were a total of 9 schools and 5 universities (41 Teams) which joined this competition.

   The championship for high schools went to The Anglo-Singapore International School team 1, and the one for universities went to the Mahidol University International College Team 1.

   The Assumption College Team 1 ended up in the semifinal round. This team had 3 members, as listed below:
